An Exciting Day in Ajax!

Today March 31, 2014 is the day our first external sign is being changed.

On Feb 1, 2014 Jim VanDusen and partner Michael Croxon owner of the NewRoads Automotive Group purchased Bob Myers Chevrolet Buick GMC in Durham Region.  It’s the first major change in ownership and name change for a GM Dealership in Durham in about 30 years!  A renewed focus on the customer experience and a great employee culture is the foundation which great things will be built on.

Michael Croxon and Jim VanDusen have spent their careers building very positive internal teams – which in turn deliver nothing short of an extraordinary customer experience.  While the deals will always be great, the customer experience will be even better!

“There is a lot of pride in putting your name on a new business. With that though goes an enormous responsibility to build a great employee culture and ensure the customer experience is second to none” says Jim VanDusen.

We’ve done this over and over and each time takes lot’s of work and a great team – but as things grow and extraordinary results in all areas follow – it becomes a lot of fun. The more fun it becomes the less it feels like work and more like a mission.

As with NewRoads at Boyer Chevrolet Buick GMC, we expect to find ways to share back with our local community.  This is actual a defined pillar of our brand.

Seeing the first of our external signs going up is simply exciting!
