Getting to know your “neighbour’s” just makes sense‎.

Just across the street from the dealership a new trendy ‎Restaurant and Lounge – Rum Diaries has opened up.  The reviews have been fantastic – great food and live music‎ and over 50 different types of rum from around the world!

The owner Karl Walters came to our VanDusen Caribbean Party – where we were promoting Ajax Caribbean Week and the Durham Caribbean Festival last week and we had the opportunity to meet.   What’s amazing is we have a mutual long time friend – who DJ’d our event – Jason Williams.

Following our celebration several of us went over to Karl’s place – Rum Diaries – and enjoyed some fabulous music and great eats!  Even more exciting he’s preparing to open a huge – lounge patio in the coming weeks.

Great guy, great food, great atmosphere and …..a great neighbour.  We’ll be back soon Karl!
