In total, 350 Tickets were sold and the draw took place August 18th, 2019 during Ajax Family Fun Day at Ajax Downs.

Family Fun Day was filled with so many things for families to do because of the great volunteers who work endlessly to put this together. Let’s take a look at the venue and some of the activities that filled the day.

Toddlers enjoy water and sand toys,
Penguin Fish Plunge and many other games enjoyed by all who visited Family Fun Day.
Line Up was long for this one, fill with everyone from young to old. All just to see who could throw the ax closest to the center of the bulls-eye.

Of course, what would the track be like without a little wager on the ponies because we need to cheer for someone.
Food, drinks and time well spent with the family and the community. What more could you ask for from Family Fun Day.

Durham Tamil Association on hand. They are proud to assist and participate in fund raising activities such as the walkathon for the local Hospital, Durham Regional Police Food and Toy Drive, Charitable events organized by Multicultural Durham Newspaper.
Ontario Equestrian on hand for Family Day. They believe horses and horse sport are important to who we are as Ontarian’s. From first time riders to seasoned competitors, more and more people are experiencing the special bond between horse and rider.
Zoo To You – ‘Ed-zoo-cation on location at Family Fun Day so kids and adults could get down and personal with their furry and reptile friends.
Oh yes, did we mention the horse races because the competition was fierce.
What would Family Fun Day be without a lot of raffles? Fabulous items generously donated by businesses and individuals living in our amazing community so we all had the same opportunity to win.
Families had a chance to get a close look at the competition so they could make sure they were making the right bet.
Endless volunteers throughout the venue for Family Day. Without all the volunteers, these events and giveaways would never be possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who give your time to help and support the community we call home.
