VanDusen Cheque Presentation to Big Brothers Big Sisters

Boyer Chevrolet Buick GMC is pleased to present a cheque for $8,750 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-West Durham. Jim VanDusen and Jim Gibbens presented the cheque to Executive Director Melanie Stewart and the entire BBBS team who came out to show their support.

These funds were raised from our 3rd annual VanDusen Charity Car Show and Family Fun Event in support of BBBS. It was a great day at our dealership. The entire lot was filled with neighbourhood families and car enthusiasts who came out to enjoy the food, music, prizes and over 200 classic and unique cars. We were able to surpass our contribution of $5,000 from last year with the help of our partners, Royal Bank of Canada, Pine Ridge Corvette Club, Karbelt Speed & Custom Pickering, Hot Rod Swag, Golden Leaf Automotive, Durham Region Classic Mustang Club, all the classic car show entrants, and our great staff.

It was great to once again be partnering and supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-West Durham and all the tremendous work that they do in mentoring the local youth of Our Ajax and Durham.
