We are looking for a qualified individual who can do the following:

  • Present, promote and sell products/service options using GM specifications based on industry standards or vehicle needs/requirements.

  • Identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services through phone calls and in person interactions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to set priorities.
  • Able to clearly communicate with customers regarding their vehicle and its status.
  • Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and mandatory PPE.
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
  • Able to work individually and as a part of a team.
  • Knowledge and experience in PBS is an asset, but not required.
  • Have knowledge of automotive processes.

Licensed Automotive Technician

  • Examining vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;
  • Providing written, prioritized quotes for necessary additional work;

  • Performing road tests and safety inspections;
  • Actively maintaining the cleanliness of personal and team work spaces;

Collision Centre Technician

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Tasks and skills required:
– Review damage reports, estimate repair costs and plan work to be performed.
– Clean and maintain workspace.
– Replace front-end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
– File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
– Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
– Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
– Repair or replace interior components.
– Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling.
– Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
– Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
– Organized and time-efficient
– Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
– A positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
