The stylish 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are big on capabilities and easier to park both indoors and out. Colorado/Canyon are at the head of the class when it comes to power and fuel economy.
The 2.5l DOHC inline 4 with 6-speed automatic transmission has 200hp and 191 ft-lbs of torque. The maximum payload is 662kg (1460lbs) and maximum trailering is 1587 (3500lbs).
The 3.6l DOHC V6 with 6-speed automatic transmission has 305hp and 269 ft-lbs of torque. The maximum payload is 721kg (1590lbs and maximum trailering is 3175kgs (7000lbs).
Some reviews have called the Colorado/Canyon a mid-sized truck, down-sized full truck or a crossover with the utility of a pick-up bed. It drives quieter, the ride is less harsh and you’ll find more tech than previous versions of the compact truck. OnStar 4G LTE is standard along with touch screen Infotainment with Bluetooth. The rear jump seats face the front of the vehicle. Because of this and how the head restraint can be used to extend the rear seat area the jump seats are compatible with child restraint systems.
